I just returned home from a two-week visit with my dad in Pennsylvania. I made excellent time on the drive back, completing it in just 12.5 hours. The trip down on the Friday of the holiday weekend took an exhausting 17 hours—a record-long journey.
Each twist and turn on our drive revealed another breathtaking landscape, with shades of red, gold, and burnt orange painting the horizon. I felt grateful to be surrounded by such beauty.
While many trees have already lost their leaves, the remaining gold ones provided a beautiful contrast.
By the time we returned home, my heart was lighter and my spirit lifted. It’s moments like these—filled with appreciation for nature and good company—are what truly rejuvenate us.
And then I had a nap on the sofa.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. Loved the bird in flight.
Precious moments with family is everything in everyone’s life and mother nature is always there for all of us, we just need to take a moment to enjoy it.
Thanks for all the beauty you share with all. Blessings to you and family.
