The weather this weekend has been glorious. Hannah’s been a bit under the weather and not up for a full-fledged hike, so we drove to the Southern Corea Heath Trail and simply enjoyed being outdoors with a beautiful view.
We were the only ones at this Maine Coastal Island National Wildlife Refuge.
The crimson leaves were stunning.
And the flowers gone to seed dancing about the files looked like something out of Horton Hears a Who!
The sound of the wind in the trees and a few songbirds kept us company.
And the chickadees.
October in Maine.
Beautiful. I really want to visit Maine some day.
