After a long morning of problem-solving work issues, not budging from my desk, I needed to move. Hannah and I set off in the car without a destination and landed atop Pigeon Hill. At 19 degrees. Our last Pigeon Hill trip was with dad last June. Our last winter hike here was a snowshoe.

Despite the overcast weather, Cadillac Mountain was visible across the bay.

As was Petit Manan Light in the distance.

We lingered just long enough at the top to take a few pictures.

Hannah’s panorama from the peak. The colors are dull this time of year.

Greetings from the top!

I love making some memories to hold me over as Hannah heads back to college in just a few days.

Loved your posting, nothing better than time with your child just one on one no matter how old they are. Question, I thought you would have lots of snow.
We lost it in our January thaw, but it’s coming back today. The forecast calls for up to 8 inches for us!
