It took six days of driving between Paul and me to bring Hannah home for just five days. Given the phone calls I had during mid-term week, it was pretty clear that Hannah needed to come home as much as I wanted to have her here. Life seems so much fuller when she’s home.

We spent the week exploring, experimenting with her new camera, and ensuring that she got good food.

We fit in a drive through Schoodic.

Cadillac Mountain looked beautiful int he snow.

Paul played chauffeur so Hannah and I could play photographer.

The ice is melting – a sure sign that Downeast is slowly catching up with the calendar.

Cadillac from Schoodic Point.

Wonqueak Harbor.

We had a walk on the beach at Roque Bluff.

It was a good day for shell collecting.

Our only company was this pair of loons.

Only seven more weeks until I bring Hannah home for the summer. Not that I’m counting!
