The Egg Count

our first duck egg

Our 12 Buff Orpington and Plymouth Barred Rock hens were born on May 30, 2011. Five months and three weeks into our chicken keeping the first egg arrived!

Note: I’m finished with the egg count. We’re at a point where the daily count is predictable! If you’re new to chickens, this may help as you figure out what to expect on your farm.
