This is the view from the end of our road. Every day there’s something different happening here. On this morning, the sun was peeking through the fog, the tide partly out, and two Great Blue Herons lounging on the mudflats. Of course, my camera was back on the...

I love Fridays. They are my work from home day. I can wake without the alarm and roll out of bed to enjoy coffee at my desk. My routine involves a pattern of working and puttering, working and puttering. My puttering might be doing the dishes, laundry, taking Gidget...

Hannah and I spied this rainbow when leaving an after work meeting tonight. Generally heading toward home, we followed the rainbow, looking for better views. You can just see the second rainbow here. And here, the clouds eclipse the colors. Perhaps the best shot of...

Here’s little pop of beauty on this otherwise cold, damp, dreary summer day (I think we hit a high of 60 degrees F). At first glance I thought this was a field of dandelions, but it’s actually millions of tiny buttercup flowers.

A rising crescent moon vying for attention with the setting sun. My iPhone doesn’t do the scene justice.

Thunder clouds rolling over the blueberry barrens snapped out the car window with my iPhone. The heavens opened up moments later as I hightailed it home.

The setting sun left a beautiful reflection on the icy blueberry barrens. Worthy of an impromptu iPhone photo stop.

An impulse, drive-by, iPhone shot of Cadillac Mountain had Paul and Hannah sitting in the car rolling their eyes. Again.

The red, white, and blue of this expanse of snow driven blueberry barren caught my eye this afternoon. I didn’t have my camera with me, but then I remembered my iPhone so I made a u-turn in the middle of the road to go back and snap these pictures. It’s a...
