Our four bantam ameraucanas were an impulse purchase. They were on sale at the end of the season for $1 each. How could we pass?
They were unequivocally rejected by The Girls; they are chicken coop drop outs. So what could we do, but build another chicken coop!
This coop was designed specifically for our bantam hens, but with a few minor changes this could work for a couple of larger chickens.
Paul had a design in mind for this “Banty B and B” when we started, but made up a lot of the design as he went along. He is drawing up plans for this and we will make them available here when he’s finished.
