Hannah and I are in Pennsylvania for a quick college exploration visit and Hannah’s first college interview. This afternoon, I took Hannah to Waggoner’s Gap where dad took me a few of years ago.

The sun was in the wrong spot for good photos, but for a short time we joined this group watching for eagles and hawks in this migratory path. Serious birders had been parked there since early in the day with their tripods, fancy cameras, blankets and food. A crow was all I spied from our vantage point.

It was crazy windy. I wonder if the raptors take cover during weather like this or enjoy the tail wind?

The view of the Susquehanna Valley is quite impressive from the top.

A fun way to end this whirlwind visit! Tomorrow we are Maine bound!
