This weekend we labored on the greenhouse. And I do mean labored. Neither Paul nor I can move without whining. While we’re still not finished, the top and sides are in place and fastened down – no small feat given the breezy conditions. It was like wrestling a giant sail. Here along the coast, if we waited for a calm day, we’d never finish.
Despite the fact that we haven’t sorted out the ends, I’ve started planting. A little bird netting will keep the chickens at bay until we wrap up the project.
The punch list includes:
- plastic the ends
- fashion doors
- consider vents
- add gutters
- make rain barrels
- finish planting
If this punch list is anything like the house punch list, I’ll still be looking at some of these items next year!
