Today was fabulous and 50 – a wonderful taste of spring with some serious snow melt going on.
Despite the lovely weather, I was a bit taken aback when I arrived home to this:
The 3+ feet of snow that had been lingering on the mudroom roof finally let go. As I was wearing clogs, I dumped my bags back into the car and called for backup.
Paul tossed me a shovel and we worked the problem from both sides before Hannah rescued us both. Definitely a house design problem!
Nine more days ’till Spring!
Can spring come soon enough?? Especially with another snow storm on the way this weekend. We will have to remember these days during the dog days of summer. Take care………….Mam

I do believe that after this winter once all that snow melts–everyone will be doing a ‘happy dance’ until late next fall–regardless of how hot the summer might be–at least there won’t be snow to shovel!!!
