The Blue Billed Ruddy Duck

Not long ago, a Mrs. Ruddy wrote and asked me to make a Ruddy Duck pattern. Not being familiar with her namesake, I googled it. Once I saw how fun he was, I knew I had to make him. His blue bill makes him quite unique!

    Susan,
Just when I think I’ve made ALL your lovelies, I see a new one! Thank you for posting these beauties. I am putting them on my Christmas tree this year and will share a photo when it is up. I am still working on the gray owl, and this new fabulous duck.

Hello! Thank you for the pattern! I will be making felt birds to put on our Christmas tree next year. I’m glad I found your website!

Susan I recently found your site and have made three of your fabulous birds already. I too would like to make these for a Christmas tree — but no way by this year! Thank you sooo much for being so kind to share all of these. I now live in Alabama and your site has helped to take the sting out of my first year without snow…have enjoyed reading your posting! Thank you again for all the super patterns.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful felt patterns! I love them so much! I am wanting to make a stocking, and use just the front of each critter/bird. THANKS again!
