The Quaint California Quail

This humble little bird has the honor of being the most requested bird pattern at Downeast Thunder Farm. We don’t have these little birds in our neck of the woods, but I certainly had fun designing him. Enjoy!

WOW the pattern came out super!!!what a talent you have….thank you so very much for working on this awesome bird pattern even though you don’t have them where you live. They are the cutest how they walk with that little feather bobbing in frount. and the babies are little ball of the softest fuzz. Thank you again!!! Really kind!! Blessings di

Thank you so much for the Quail pattern. I have now made 15 of your birds for my 85 year old mother. She LOVES watching the birds at the feeders outside her window. Now she has the bird ornaments hanging on her curtains on the inside of the windows as well. She always gets excited in the spring when the Quail come to feed below her feeders. She watches them for days and is thrilled when they begin to bring their babies to feed as well.
