I don’t see many Robins at my house. That’s probably because I don’t really have a lawn. I’m hopeful that someday I will have a tiny patch that might require mowing instead of scrub and clover. While here in Pennsylvania I’ve enjoyed the lushness of my folks’ backyard.
I spent quite a bit of time outside this afternoon watching this Robin.
My presence seemed to make her anxious.
I followed her flight and discovered why. She’s protecting the nest she built beneath the deck house. Isn’t she sweet?
