I spent the day outside working with Paul. Together we cut trees to thin out the area around the pond. While I worked, a tiny little nuthatch energetically flitted in an out of the trees. The wood has been cut and stacked for burning in the wood boiler, but I sincerely hope we didn’t cut down his home! Here’s his likeness in a felt ornament.

Your bird patterns are adorable! I’ve seen nuthatches in my backyard here on Long Island, NY. It’s funny how they ‘climb’ trees.

Wow, your patterns are wonderful. The chickadee and robin are so sweet. i love the owls too. Would you consider trying a quail pattern. they periodically run through our back yard ( we live on Vancouver island near Victoria) and are another favourite of mine. I didn’t spot one on your site. If I overlooked it please forgive me i’m not so hot with finding stuff on the computer. Thanks, Jill
