Hannah stumbled across a recipe I’d pulled out of a magazine for Pepperidge Farm’s Spinach-Cheese Swirls. Hannah being Hannah read the recipe through once and then did her own thing.
Having recently discovered that Hannah loves spinach I’ve been keeping a bag of fresh spinach in the fridge. For her pinwheels, rather than using frozen spinach, she sauteed fresh spinach in a bit of olive oil and filled the puff pastry with the spinach, Monterey Jack cheese and a bit of Parmesan. Before I realized what Hannah was doing she pulled these tasty little morsels out of the oven. A nice Sunday afternoon treat!
